The school has some of the best Counsellors of the region who have devoted their lives to the betterment of the children. The Counsellors also organize sessions for parents and teachers. Further, they conduct Assessment of Learning Disability & IQ and Remediation programme for SLD.

CLASS ROOMS

It undoubtedly is boring and those who are slightly weak in academics often lose interest in several subjects in no time. This problem has made Mathematics a nightmare for many and History classes as sleep-inducing sessions. But it was during the past. With advent of technology, the teachers get hold of wonderful curriculum designed and developed as per their requirements and style that includes information from various sources and most importantly, in visual form. The teachers are now able to explain the most complicated and complex problems and situations in the easiest manner which can be comprehended by all.
Further, the students may go back to the available audio-visual, and appealing textual content time and again for better and deeper understanding. The best part of Digital Classrooms is that students start developing a strong liking for the subjects they used to dread in the past and when it is served and presented in an appealing manner with 3D images and visuals, they outperform themselves without even realizing it. Central Board of Secondary Education- An Ever-Evolving Affiliating Board
Our Hindu Allied Institutions are affiliated to the most popular affiliating Board’s in India, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Krishna University. The network of CBSE schools is widest in the nation and it has launched its international version as well in the form of CBSE. The affiliation to CBSE has benefits galore. E- Learning
The school understands the significance of electronic learning and has integrated technology in the curriculum in such a way that technology supplements the primary learning methods. DPS, Gandhinagar has five modern Computer Laboratories that can accommodate 180 learners at one go. The laboratories are equipped with Multimedia Projectors and hi-speed internet connectivity.
All the computer machines installed have the latest application software, namely Windows 7 & Windows 10 Operating Systems, Open-Office, MS-Office, Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, MySQL along with programming language C, C++and others. The computers are protected through firewalls that also restrict access to undesirable websites and have licensed antivirus software to keep viruses and malware at a distance.
Safety Protocol
It focuses on the overall well-being of each child. The school has a dedicated infirmary managed and manned by a highly qualified doctor / caretaker (Nurse) assisted by an experienced nurse. Each student has a separate Medical Card issued by the Infirmary which is to be filled by the parents.
The regular checkups of the students are carried out at the infirmary and health camps are organized by the school for comprehensive checkups of the students by medical practitioners specialized in different arenas of medical sciences.

The parents are informed about any medical issue with their wards that demand immediate attention. Any Child who is not well at school visits Infirmary with an Almanac after informing / due permission from the teacher in the class. The Nurse put a stamp in the Almanac authenticating child’s medication/ case at Infirmary. Parents are informed about child’s sickness through Almanac.
MEDICAL GUIDANCE
Parents are requested to impart health education to their children to enable the following :
- Maintain personal hygiene
- Eat a balanced diet.
- Drink clean water.
- Follow a regular exercise schedule.
- Have adequate sleep of at least 8 hours.
Parents are expected to :
- Immunize their children as per the doctor’s advice.
- Not send children suffering from communicable/infectious diseases like conjunctivitis, chicken pox, measles, influenza, mumps etc. to school till the prescribed period of abstinence is over.
- Produce a doctor’s certificate permitting the child to attend school after recovering from an infectious or contagious disease.
- Inform the school authorities in writing if the child is suffering from a chronic disease stating the history of illness and special precautions to be taken if any.
- The procedure school follows if a child becomes sick and doesn’t need to visit the hospital, is to put him/her in school Sick Bay with proper treatment.
Do note that :
The school has a well-equipped medical room and a qualified attendant to provide first-aid to a child in case of need.
- A comprehensive annual medical check up of each child is done by qualified doctors to monitor the child’s physical growth.
- A medical card to record the health status and growth status of the child is maintained and a report thereof is sent to the parents for information and necessary action.

Auditorium
The school has a huge auditorium with an excellent provision of fresh air entering from various sides. It is a special corner where hustle-bustle is commonplace. The space can accommodate a large number of students of the school at any given point in time. The Auditorium is brought to use for a range of activities, both scholastic and co-scholastic.
